Lawn for sunbathing at the Arbeiterstrandbad
Closed in the mid-1980s as public bath was just last year freely accessible as a public lawn for all Viennese. Situated on the right bank of the Upper Old Danube, the meadow is easy to reach on public transport, Subway Line U1, U6 and the Bus Line 20A and 20B.

The artificial island located between the Danube and the New Danube is part of Vienna’s flood protection. The generous leisure offering range from beaches and bays, barbeque areas to sports options on continuously asphalted paths for biking, hiking, jogging or roller blading. Easily reachable by Subway Line U1 to Station Donauinsel.
The shallow waters of Panozzalacke is ideal for families with children. The spacious play and sunbathing area offers enough room.
Idyllically located between the riparian forest is the Dechantlacke. The wild beach with its small island is especially popular with nude bathers.
