In February, the heart of all gourmets beats faster when the “Viennese Restaurant Week” takes place in the week from February 19th to February 25th 2018.

Viennese top gastronomy at reasonable prices

In this week, which is one of the culinary highlights of the year, Gourmets can enjoy specially created menus from the best chefs de cuisine in town in approx. 100 selected top restaurants, which are  usually much cheaper than their normal offers.

From Austrian specialties and Mediterranean delights through to Asian cuisine.

At lunch, a menu starts already from 14,50 Euros for 2-course dinner, in the evening the 3-course dinner in restaurants with up to one Gault Millau hood cost 29,50 Euros. A visit to a restaurant with two Gault Millau hood for lunch at an additional price of 5,– Euro and in the evening for an additional price of 10,– Euro, in a three-toque restaurant with a surcharge of 10,– Euro for lunch and in the evening for a surcharge of 20,– Euro.

Due to the high demand, you should reserve a table! Simply choose your favorite restaurant at Restaurant Week. The reservations are made in real time and guests will automatically receive a confirmation email.

The first restaurant week was held in 1992 in New York. It was an attempt to lure guests in the off-season in restaurants. Since then, this idea has been internationally successful. Meanwhile more than 10,000 restaurants participate in more than 120 cities worldwide.

Vienna has an international comparison an exceptionally dense array of excellent restaurants, whose variety and sophistication we want to present this week.” says Dominik Holter, organizers of the Vienna Restaurant Week.
